Daycare digitalisation
Two apps for everyday daycare life: BiDoK for educational documentation and itana for communication between daycare centres and parents. Data protection at a level worthy of the youngest.

Communication between daycare centres and parents was analogue and synchronous – by phone or in person. As demand for digital, location-independent exchange rose sharply, the tools had to be easy to use in everyday daycare life while meeting the highest data-protection requirements.
We developed two coordinated applications. BiDoK supports staff with observation, developmental goals and educational documentation. itana connects daycare and parents: parents receive news, documents, dates and messages on their smartphone, translated into over 70 languages on request, while the daycare side runs on almost any device.

- End-to-end and multi-layer encrypted, separated per provider, centre, group and child
- Hosted in ISO-27001-certified data centres in Germany, deleted no later than four weeks after departure
- Traceable but not monitoring: evaluating staff is technically ruled out
The early prototype has grown into two independent products. Daycare centres now document and communicate digitally, without compromising on the protection of children's data.
